In general, ThePanelist commenting guidelines for writers are as follows:
1. Comments are good, it means people are reading you - be appreciative.
2. We encourage you to answer comments or get your friends to answer them.
3. Never be personal or attack the person making the comment. You can attack the statements but not the person. This also makes you look smarter than the commentator.
4. We can always remove/edit comments from anyone that are blatant promotion, advertising, irrelevant, personal, inflammatory, racist, sexist, contain unnecessary swearing, are threatening or make anyone involved in the site intimidated. We have to protect our writers and our community.
